It’s always a challenge for me to put together a gift guide for kids because I am torn on what to actually buy our children. Part of me likes to go all out and spoil them with tons of gifts. It’s the one time of year to let loose especially when it comes to your children. I always loved coming down on Christmas morning to see all the toys I wished for. There’s something about being a parent and seeing the excitement on your kids faces when they see all the presents! On the other hand I don’t want all the toys in my house because all you moms out there know it will just end up in a basket or in a pile to never be touched again. It gets a few good plays in the first month and is lost for the rest of its life.
Since becoming parents to Ava we have found a good mix. 1 or 2 big toys and a few little stocking stuffer type gifts to round it all out. We like to get a mix of smart toys, a few fun clothing items and that 1 big present we know they will love.
A tablet is slightly controversial but she has tablet time and is monitored. There are a lot of great apps and videos for little ones and I swear it helps! Don’t forget a kids case to keep it from breaking from all the dropping your toddler is bound to do.
How can you resist these baby Hunter boots?
I had to add on the Mercedes Push Cart because Quinn is already getting it this year from her Gigi and Poppa (my parents).
